New and converted residential dwellings are required to undergo pre-completion testing under Approved Document E of the Building Regulations. James Gardner MSc MIOA is the director of JG Acoustics and has 20 years experience working with sound for many applications. James holds the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma and is a Corporate Member of the IOA. He has co-authored and published research papers related to his area of expertise. He is also certified to carry out Sound Insulation Testing through SITMA, a UKAS-accredited certification body (No. 10579).
